Design & Engineering Manager

Smart Guy Solutions is hiring a Design and Engineering Manager to lead technical design for our commercial security projects in Phoenix or Mesa, AZ. Pay runs $90,000 to $100,000 per year, and you need 5+ years of commercial physical security design and engineering experience with strong knowledge of video surveillance and access control. You will take a customer requirement to a documented project the field can execute.

• You bring IP networking fundamentals, working knowledge of intrusion and intercom systems, and coordinate with customer IT teams.

• You bring strong estimating judgment and understand how design decisions affect labor, margin, and schedule.

Who We Are:

• We design and install commercial security systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion, and intercom.

• We also handle audio visual, fiber optics, and cabling.

• We are building our engineering function as we grow into new markets.

What You Will Do Each Day:

• Design CCTV, access control, intrusion, and intercom systems for customer projects.

• Run site surveys and technical discovery.

• Build bills of material, labor estimates, scopes, and proposals.

• Produce drawings and deployment documentation.
