About this role
SSA Group at Zoo Atlanta is hiring Cashiers in Atlanta, GA, paying $14 to $15 an hour. You will run the register at our food, beverage, and concession locations, follow cash-handling procedures, and keep the line moving while giving every Zoo guest a warm welcome. Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
Who You Are:
You are personable, upbeat, and the kind of cashier guests remember for the right reasons.
You bring cash handling or cashier experience with register or point of sale knowledge.
You are comfortable with basic math and counting skills and keep your drawer accurate to the dollar.
You stay organized, solve problems quickly, and stay flexible in a fast-paced environment.
You can lift and move boxes of 10 to 35 lbs as needed.
You are at least 16 years old and can work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What You Will Do Each Day:
Deliver SSA EXTRA Guest Service to every guest.
Run the cash register, verify your drawer at the start of the day, and follow all cash-handling procedures.
Know menu items, prices, and specials so you can answer guest questions.
Support front-of-house and line prep for daily operation.
Meet food service, safety, quality, and sanitation standards, including safety logs.
Keep your station clean, safe, organized, and stocked.
