The opportunity

About this role

Full Time

We are seeking a high-performing Safety Advisor to join our field sales team in San Diego, CA. This is a results-driven position for a skilled electrician with a strong sales mindset who can inspect homes, educate homeowners, and deliver measurable revenue growth without ever making a cold call. If you excel in field presentations, thrive on closing high-ticket residential solutions, and take pride in leaving every home safer than you found it, this is your next career move.

What You’ll Do

  • Execute Daily In-Home Appointments: Run 3 to 5 pre-booked, pre-paid daily appointments with warm homeowners who specifically requested electrical service—no cold calling or prospecting required.

  • Conduct Comprehensive Audits: Inspect electrical panels, wiring, devices, and systems to spot safety hazards, code violations, and upgrade opportunities.

  • Present Solutions & Close: Explain findings in plain language, present tiered repair/upgrade options, overcome objections, and close business on the spot.

  • Deliver & Hand Off Quality Service: Execute minor self-installs when appropriate (earning both sales and install commission) or hand off larger projects seamlessly to our install crews.

  • CRM Discipline & Performance Tracking: Track activity, options presented, quote conversions, and pipeline metrics in our CRM system while following our proven sales process.

Who You Are

  • Licensed Electrician: Active Journeyman, Wireman, Licensed Residential Electrician, or Certified General Electrician credential with at least 4 years of hands-on residential/commercial electrical experience as an electrician, installer, or service tech (REQUIRED). Sales/in-home presentation or estimating experience is a plus.

  • Trusted Communicator: A natural talker who builds immediate rapport, puts homeowners at ease, and simplifies complex electrical issues into clear options.

  • Results & Growth Driven: Motivated by uncapped commission, highly coachable, and eager to sharpen your sales skills through direct mentorship from experienced operators.

  • Field Ready: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and based in (or open to relocating to) the San Diego, CA metro area.

This Role Is NOT For You If You:

  • Do not hold an active Journeyman, Wireman, Licensed Residential, or Certified General Electrician credential, or lack hands-on residential/commercial electrical experience

  • Prefer a fixed hourly/salary rate rather than an uncapped, performance-based commission structure.

  • Dislike using CRM systems, tracking metrics, or following structured sales processes.

What We Offer

  • Uncapped Earning Potential: $100K-$200K+ OTE (10% sales commission + 10% install commission) where top closers control their own income.

  • Zero Prospecting: Steady flow of fully pre-booked and paid appointments provided every day—your calendar stays full.

  • Company Vehicle Provided: Dedicated company vehicle supplied for all work travel—eliminating wear and tear on your personal car.

  • Expert Training & Support: Ongoing coaching from experienced operators, backed by a veteran-owned, licensed contractor offering written 5/10/Lifetime warranties.

  • Relocation Package: Potential relocation stipend available for top-tier candidates ready to move to San Diego, CA
