About this role
SSA Group at Riverbanks Zoo and Garden is hiring Reconciliation Clerks in Columbia, SC, paying $13 to $15 an hour. You will count, verify, and reconcile cash and card sales from food, beverage, and retail locations across the Zoo, prepare deposits, and flag any discrepancies. We have 2 openings and are looking for people who can start ASAP.
Who You Are:
You are organized and detail-oriented, with a knack for keeping counts accurate.
You have experience in cash handling, cash office, bookkeeping, or reconciliation work.
You are comfortable using basic computer systems, POS reports, and spreadsheets.
You are dependable, trustworthy, and work well with a team.
You can work varied hours, including weekends and holidays.

What You Will Do Each Day:
Count and verify cash drawers and banks from food, beverage, and retail locations.
Reconcile daily cash and card sales against POS reports.
Prepare accurate bank deposits and change orders.
Research and report overages, shortages, and other discrepancies.
Keep reconciliation records organized and up to date.
