About this role
Nima Construction is hiring an Assistant Project Manager in San Rafael, CA, with a pay offer of ((Pay)), to support active jobs across Marin, San Francisco, and the East Bay. You will need 2 or more years of experience as an APM, project engineer, or project coordinator at a residential or small commercial builder (or solid field experience and a drive to move into the office side), and you will own the paperwork that keeps every job moving and keeps subs and owners paid on time.

You take pride in a clean paper trail, where every change order, invoice and log is accurate and ready before anyone asks.
You are a clear communicator who keeps architects, owners and subs on the same page.
You want a real path forward, starting with support and oversight now and building toward running your own projects.
You bring the ability to follow structural drawings and understand the pricing behind that work.
You bring the ability to read plans and specs independently, and you are comfortable with Bluebeam markups, measurements and takeoffs, plus Excel.

What You Will Do Each Day:
Price and write change orders, and track them through approval.
Prepare monthly owner billing with the backup ready to go.
Review sub invoices and keep POs current with the accounting team.
Run bid leveling and buyout on new jobs.
Maintain RFI and submittal logs, and keep meeting notes current.
